    Britta originally invented the Aquis towel because of her own problems in drying long hair. Britta discovered that by using a super-absorbent hair towel to wick away water, not only could she dry her hair fast but the results for hair health and condition were amazing. What her early customers nicknamed “the miracle towel” was born. Word spread and so did Aquis; from the Bay Area, to the whole of the USA, to Europe and beyond. Britta is passionately involved in every aspect of Aquis, especially anything to do with vision, product integrity and and product development.


    Suveen loves transformational business opportunities. He launched Danone Water brands in South Asia and transformed Himalayan Mineral Water into becoming the most valued bottled water asset in India within three years. A fascination for brands that combine emotion and science led Suveen from consumer brands, through tech entrepreneurship into Aquis towels. Suveen first fell in love with Aquis inventor Britta. But later looking over her shoulder developed a passionate appreciation of this truly unique product. Suveen set out to understand how Aquis does what it does. Working with hair science experts and applying research and deep user insights, Suveen is now helping create a brand with product innovation and social community development at its core.


    Shawna thrives on being part of a team that helps women feel more confident and beautiful. She spent many years producing TV commercials before joining the women's fitness movement as an entrepreneur and now leads the sales team at Aquis. Shawna’s life with Aquis started six years earlier as an enthusiastic customer (even her 8 year old daughter is a convert). Now, Shawna is passionate about educating the world to change their hair habits.



    Has worked in the Hair Care industry for over 20 years in the product development labs of global majors like Unilever, Helene Curtis. Served as Chairman of the 6th International Conference on Applied Hair Science in Princeton, NJ. Published numerous articles and co-author of “Practical Modern Hair Science”.Member of the Expert Reviewing Panel for the Journal of Cosmetic Science and lectures on Hair Science and other educational events organized by the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
